Establishment
Habartice Sheep Farm was established in 2002 and followed up on the agricultural activity performed by the family since 1946. The first sheep were romanovského origin and the 6 ewes and 1 ram. Over time and after acquiring more experience, the flock had grown to 51 ewes and 60 jehniček and two rams. At present we have as to the origin with a diverse mixture of different ratios of blood. The reason for establishing the family sheep farm land was owned mostly permanent grasslands with low fertility and poorly accessible terrain. Farm has on 90 ha own and leased.Our sheep farm in January 2008 after tests found the disease TSE (scrapie).
KVS Liberec ordered the culling of sheep that had genotype ARR.Z herd following conditions are met, only one ram Oxford Down which has ARR / ARR and is against this disease that we imunní.Velice compulsorily wound up 81 pieces of sheep affected regardless of the sheep were all pregnant and the results from previous years, the 163 pieces of lambs born. To date ie 7th May we have a real sheep and a German Parakeet with 30 pieces of breeding ewes and a ram.
